Low engine oil pressure alarm went off and compressor died.

Now it won’t start.

Suggestions?

Low pressure

Same things you do if your car oil light comes on.

Check oil

if OK

Check oil pump

if OK

Check oil sensor (AKA oil pressure sender)

if OK

Change oil

if OK – done

If not OK, you may be in for a rebuild as in bad bearings or possible blown gasket somewhere.
