Milwaukee Information

Milwaukee Tool began in 1924 and has since led the industry in developing innovative solutions that are able to deliver increased productivity and unmatched durability for professional, and DIY, construction workers. They are best known for their world-leading M12 and M18 cordless tool systems.

Their aim is, and always has been, to provide a continuous flow of advanced, trade-specific solutions. In 2005, Milwaukee was acquired by Techtronic Industries Co. (TTi), and since then they have set out to work alongside professional traders to understand the challenges encountered on a day-by-day basis, and thereby provide innovative solutions.

Milwaukee Tool claims to have achieved a major step forward in the industry when they invented the technology that enabled the use of lithium-ion in power tools. It was an achievement that marked a turning point for every trade in the industry and spurred the question, “Are battery-powered tools the future of the job site?”

At that time no one believed in this technology more than the Milwaukee team themselves. They gambled that the cordless job site was the future and not just a fad! Providing many very reputable tools in a vast range, they have also decided to produce a range of products that includes an air compressor, inflator, pump, and vacuum which can be observed in this section of their website.

Milwaukee Air Compressors Available Online

Milwaukee appears to specialize in portable air compressors, and not only this but also cordless! The Milwaukee cordless air compressor available on Amazon is what I believe to be their only compressor, in a range of products including inflators, pumps, and vacuums.

This compressor is designed for the professional carpenter and remodeler, to allow them to have access to air wherever they go. The compressor has an output of 1.2 CFM at 90 PSI with a 2-gallon tank and runs on an M18 battery system. The compressor also only produces 68 dB of noise making it the quietest cordless compressor on the market.

Here are a couple of YouTube reviews on the compressor:
