vintage compressor pump - whose is it?

(East Texas)

Vintage compressor pump

Vintage compressor pump

Vintage compressor pump
Vintage compressor

Here is what I know which isnt much:

the guy I got it from on trade said it was 15 CFM 110 PSI. the ID badge is totally roached - no information left. it has a vokes cleaner on it (from England) and a second badge that says to use Shell Valpo(?) Oil 20.

It came paired with a Crompton Parkinson 2HP 1ph 1425rpm beast of a 220/240 motor with dual capacitors. I also got all the plumbing, which looks far more industrial/commercial than residential.

Both pieces are huge, heavy and originally painted the blue in the pics. the white is spillage of some sort. I'd love to restore this cool old setup as I already have two shiny craftsman pro series compressors that lack any inspirational value at all. :)

It *looks* like a really early Devilbiss but i cant find an exact match.

Any help greatly appreciated.

update - the pump research has led me toward broomwade/compair in england. i found online pics that are almost exact. sent emails to a couple of UK companies but, as you can imagine, information is very limited.

i did find a casting # of C4184-26 and a logo with the letters sRs inside a pentagon shape. maybe that helps someone ID?
