This compressor is in the garage of the home we rent. As far as we know it has been in the home since it's original owners. These homes were built in the early 1940s.

By the tag it looks as though the model number is a 116KG or 116KC. Probably a "C".

I have never seen this compressor work but seems to be complete. We are in Torrance, CA.

Would love to know more about this, what the value might be and if there is a market to sell.

Thanks so much.

Google "Saylor Beall Model 116KC" and you'll get a few hits.

It looks like the tank it's on may be a customization. Does that have a date or anything stamped into it? The ones I looked at seem to date from the 1930's.

Is the tank empty? (of water)

Is there a switch on it somewhere?

Depending on the answers, probably a $100 or so, more or less...
