Sanborn S51-AT24-80V never been plugged in..

I bought a Sanborn S51-AT24-80V back around 1980..I have never plugged it in..I have lost the paper work on it..I’m ready to start using it,but wonder if there’s anything I should do before starting it? I’m not real up to date on finding things on a computer..any help is appreciated

I don't find a manual for that, but the link below is a manual for your type machine.

About the motor - You should probably check the capacitors - they do die, and just sitting makes them die sooner.

Try to get some oil up on the cylinders and turn it by hand a few times until until it gets smooth (you want to have the tank drain open for that).
