I removed the brass? with 2 lines exiting it One line goes to the unloader on top of the head, other goes to the tank pop off valve.

Oil was leaking from the brass piece.

All I did was remove it and clean the mounting surface and reinstall it with a very light coat of gasket sealer.

Does it matter which direction it goes as I didn't pay attention to that before I removed it (I did reinstall it the opposite direct and nothing changed,)

Pump was working just fine before I removed this brass item.

Oil level is on it's full mark. Any ideas?

Weird.

Just seeing if I understand-

It was working in all respects, except for the oil leak? The brass piece is the unloader, the oil was coming from between the case and brass?

Have you checked for air leaks at the points you disassembled?

How much oil pressure do you get?

There are a couple of manuals for this in this section - it's known as QR-325.

The brass piece is upside down, the R goes to the tank and the D goes to the diaphragm on the head.
