Pressure regulator cap for 1RL5020

I have a Devilbiss Air Compressor Model 1RL5020 that I purchased new in 1999. It's service has been flawless for the past 16 years. The pressure regulator manifold has a black plastic cap that screws onto the top of the manifold. When screwed shut, the cap releases air to the air hose and provides a seal, such that air does not leak out the top of the manifold. My cap is cracked at the top of the threads where it screws onto the top of the metal manifold. Is there any way to purchase a cap short of purchasing the pressure regulator assembly?

Original pressure regulator manifold with cap was AC-0076. This part number is obsolete. There are AC-0007 metal manifolds that have the plastic cap, but they are $43 and up. This seems a ridiculous amount to pay for a plastic cap. Outside diameter of the threads for the metal manifold is 1.25". Perhaps a cap with the same internal diameter?

Thanks for your help

Regulator Ordered

Thanks Doug

I went ahead and paid $40 for the regulator on EBay. I can't have my air compressor down any longer. We'll have to see if it fits/works.

I think there may be more than just the cap broken, as in the diaphragm.

If you haven't already, check out the section on regulators (use search box or site map).

You can use any regulator that will fit mechanically and can handle the flow of as much as 11 CFM, if we can believe the specs.
