Pilot unloader valves

I have a pilot unloader valve with a port to attach a throttle kick-down when the compressor unloads.

My engine is a "fixed governor" type engine and has no throttle assembly.

Can I just buy a 1/8" NPT pipe plug and block off this port?

The unloader valve does have an exhaust port.

Currently, when the compressor unloads, air rushes out of the throttle port AND the exhaust port on the pilot unloader valve which causes it to unload real fast.

I don't see any reason not to. I also don't see any reason to bother unless it's annoying for some reason.

Your call.
