Short list of suspects.

Kudos to the makers and keepers of this site!

I have 2 Sears air compressors that look like the one in the pictures. The owner's manual that I have covers mine and 2 others. The main differences are horsepower and tank capacity so I listed those. There are enough differences in details to make more than a general ID. (ie there are 3 different Pressure switches for the 4. The check valve assemblies are common to all.

I read that these have Devilbiss twins but I haven't nailed that down.

For the record, my manual has 4/78 printed on the bottom of the cover page.

Here is the breakdown:

#1 919.156580 [1.0 HP] 12 Gallons
#2 919.156680 [1.5 HP] 20 Gallons
#3 919.156780 [2.0 HP] 20 Gallons
#4 919.156880 [3.0 HP] 30 Gallons

I'm not signed up at this point so I'll watch this spot for a while if I don't see a notify option.
