Coleman Powermate ML7006016 air compressor

I have a 60 gal Coleman Powermate ML7006016 air compressor. I put 2 new gaskets, top one and bottom one, on today. Ran it about 90 seconds and noticed a drop of oil (see photo) started, again. This is the second time I've tried to fix the leak. Do you know what that little indention is and why oil is dripping out of it?

Oil Relief Channel - found the problem.
by: Anonymous

I hate to tell you this, but I found the problem.

That little opening below the air out tube, is a vent/channel that allows any excess oil to escape.

I guess I added a a little too much oil, and it was being pushed out the little opening below the air out tube.

Is that in the plate, then?

And you're following the head torque and sequence?
