my iwata Powerjet Pro suddenly loose pressure afterr about an hour or so?

I do airbrushed tattoos at fairs and parties etc. I have an Iwata Powerjet Pro compressor, it's great.

But after about an hour of continuous work, it looses pressure. Its not overheating, i have a cooling fan mounted to one end blowing on the inside. (This really could be a built-in feature, but its not). What can cause this?

Comments for my iwata Powerjet Pro suddenly loose pressure afterr about an hour or so?

Iwata Powerjet Pro compressor

According to the specs, Henry, the duty cycle of this model is 60 minutes.

The specs say "Duty cycle: 60 minutes continuous use. Please allow the motor to rest for at least 20 minutes after each cycle of continuous use. "

I cannot actually monitor the compressor to see and hear and feel what's happening after your "about an hour of continuous work" however, the specs are pretty clear and running it too long without a sufficient cool down period is likely your issue.

Time to get another Iwata or air brush compressor and use them alternatively I would think.
