Looking for thermal overload protector for Husky C201H

I was given 20 gallon, oil free 175 max psi compressor, Item #1000 487 189 as gift. After one year stopped working. Found one of the two wires to the thermal over load to have vibrated off flush with wrapping. At last run around with Home Depot & friends, the best part I could buy was the top have of the compressor. When I researched further I could buy from the manufacture, but had to by gross from what looks to be less than a dollar part. Suggestions where best to start again after a year? Thanks

Husky C201H "thermal protector"

"(one of the) wires to the thermal over load to have vibrated off flush with wrapping."

( Editorial:they seem to brag that this item is "exclusive". To me, that means stay away, no parts are available )

Anyway, do ya think this is actually thermal, or just a breaker with a thermal component (i.e., it's not mounted to or inside the motor)? Can you get a pic or two? Any markings on it?

We can probably sub a generic part.
