Is there a reset switch on my 42321?

My Twin Tank 2 HP 5 gallon will not come on

The last time I used my Air Compressor it worked fine.

I plugged it in yesterday and it will not come one.

It is Item Number 42321 a twin tank 2 HP. Is there a reset switch on it and if so where is it?

The switch was on the side for me

Yes like another guy said, if it was a snake it would have bitten me. And I even knew it was there, just couldn't locate it. It was on the side, very nondescript black. It is just a button that pushes in to reset. Keep looking, it is there.

Reset switch on a 42321
by: Steven Gibson

Well, I hate to admit it especially on the internet but there is a reset switch right in front of the compressor, had it been a snake it would have bitten me. I took everything apart to see where I was loosing power at and low and behold right there it was. It is running again and thanks for the help.

Most motors, if they have a switch, is thermally activated and do not need to be reset.

Have a look at the troubleshooting section, "Will Not Start" and let us know what you find.

If you don't have a meter (VOM or DVM), a cheap $10 one will do.

Good luck.
