IR P185 not getting power from the starter cylinoid to the toggle switch?

have an IR P185 JD tow behind compressor, not sure of the year. Was running great, and then wouldn't shut down.

To turn it off, someone ripped the wires from the sensors, starter switch, and toggle switch, and rewired improperly causing it to short out.

I now have it running again by jumping the starter cylinoid, but it won't start on it's own or shut off. Looking for a manual, or information on on why it's not getting power from the starter cylinoid to the toggle switch?

It's possibly the relay.

check the relay between the toggle switch and the starter. It can have up to five prongs on the relay.

Wow. I don't envy you...

With all the variations, I think your best bet is to tow it to a dealer who thinks he can figure out what it is, exactly, and then get the right manual.

Sorry.
