I bought this pump via eBay and the post said it was a single stage but I’ve found the same pump and it says it’s a 2 stage. Can you help me with information on the pump?

I know it has 4 cylinders the information on the listing said it is an ct e5 v4 made by fs Curtis 5 hp but I can’t seem to find it on fs Curtis web site so any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jason

Single vs Two Stage
by: Roger

If all cylinders are the same size and they all take in air directly from atmosphere, it is a single stage.

If the cylinders are 2 large, 2 smaller, connected together with a cooler or finned line between them, it is a two stage. Frankly I can't tell from the photos
