Hi Zaldi

I work on these compressors regularly, as long as you have your compressor serviced regularly, a major overhaul isn't really required in great detail, if there are any air compressor company that tells you otherwise then they are just trying to take your money.

Every 2000 hours (or once a year depending on its usage) it should have the filters and oil changed.

Every 4000 hours, a full service, which is same as the 2000hr + seperator, then every 8000hrs, all above and the valves, on every service just get the motor bearings re greased, and a good check over.

So long as you have all the above done (and there are no other problems that may develop then that's all you should need.

Hope that helps

GA90 overhaul schedule
by: Anonymous

Dear Mr. Bill,

Thank you for attending my inquiry.

I tried to open the GA90 technical manual but I could not find any thing about overhauling schedule.

What is mentioned in the manual is the service required after 8000 running hours.

I would appreciate if you could help me on my concern.

Hello Rizaldy.

Did you get a chance to download the GA90 information booklet from the Atlas Copco page on this site? That information may be contained in there.
