How big a compressor for clearing fluid from a supply line?

by Jeff

We are trying to push glycol through a 3" x 800' supply line, in order to clear the line for a new product to fill.

What size compressor is necessary to push/purge the fluid from the system?

3" (ID?) x 800' supply line

Abut the line: ~ 40 cubic feet, or 300 gallons.

Level, uphill, downhill? Some combo?

Into what?

How clean?

How fast?
