High discharge temperature Gardner Denver VS 75?

We have bought new unit of Gardner Denver VS 75 air compressor and we are facing the issue of high discharge temperature of 120 degrees, and the unit shuts down.

What is the cause of this problem? We appreciate your answer. Thank you.

Yeah, that does seem strange.

But I guess that's why they say to check it...

I found the problem. The cooling fan motor rotation is going in reverse. yes the compressor is new and commissioning and start-up is undergoing. i am surprised that the phase sequence of the main motor and ventilator fan motor are not the same. main motor rotation is correct in start-up.(maybe installation error by GD) But GD compressor is the best. I got 2 units ESM 75 for 6 years now (24 hours continuous running) with out break down and No single problem at all.

Hard to say.

G-D soesn't make a VS 75, as far as I can tell.

But if it's new, it should be under warranty.

Still, generally, do you have the right amount of fluid in it?

Is the radiator working?

The fan(s)?

Filters clean?
