Emglo Replacement Compressor No unloader port in cylinder head

The replacement compressor lacks the unloader fitting in the cylinder head. Is there a way to configure the air circuit to allow unloading of the system once the tank is filled? I had removed the conrader model RCB valve and left the manual pressure relif valve in place. As I understand the initial configuration is the keep the motor running to reduce the start/stop load on the onboard generator. Any thoughts or suggestions?

No unloader port?

Yes.

The hard way is drill and tap an unloader port in the head.

The easy way is add a "tee" fitting to the pump output tube or pipe. Then a tube from there to the unloader.

OR, depending on the model, it may be better to replace the check valve with one that has an unloader port.

Knowing the model number of your compressor and where you got your new pump would help.
