Compressor will not cut in

Compressor cut in has failed several times and the unit will not turn back on.

The compressor is fairly new and has had this issue 3 or 4 times. It seems like it has occurred after the outside air temperature has dropped but that condition may simply be a coincidence. After the unit sits for awhile and it is unplugged and plugged back in, it works correctly until the next failure which may take several days to occur.

Short of replacing the switch, are there any other actions that may correct this problem?

Cut in fails

Pretty much all covered on the troubleshooting pages, friend.

Before replacing the switch you need to know if it is tripping to "passing power" or not when it fails to start.

In other words, isolate the cause to be sure it is the switch.
