Hi, I am looking to buy this compressor, the head looks like it is painted silver, you can see a few paint chips that have rust underneath, so I am confident it is cast not aluminum.

The tank is small and blue, I doubt it was the original with the pump. The motor is a Magnatek, I have no idea if it is original or not, although it seems that way.

The compressor is a few hours away and I have not had a chance to look for any markings.

It's an SB Knockoff
by: Roger

This is a Chinese knock-off of a Saylor Beall 705. Many companies use these to build up their own branded compressors for resale. You can probably use parts from a Sanborn SC23 if it needs repairs. DV Systems also use these on their cheaper units.
