Compair Model L18-9 cuts out at 12 PSI

Hi thanks for the website and hope you can help.

We have 2 Compair L18-9's and we cycle them back and forth every month...we are trying to keep them going and have them slated for one of our capital projects to replace with newer models.

We shut down the lead compressor to add a tad of oil which is routine about every two weeks. When we turned it back on she ramped up fine got to approx 12 PSI and then cut out.

Started troubleshooting...no error codes. replaced air intake reg SOV brand new and same symptoms pulled air intake reg cleaned and lightly lubricated....same symptoms...replaced control board with new same symptoms and still no error code(s) the compressor sounds normal no vibrations screw turns freely when powered down and no excessive oil is present.

We are going to replace entire harness assy. tomorrow...but if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Frank

Is that according to the controller, or an external gauge somewhere?

Have you verified the setpoints are correct?
