How do you hook a 1/4" quick connector to a 3/4" twist on connector?

thanks for your answer, I am spraying foam and it requires 12 cfm continue to pressure and the rental places only have small tanks so I have rent a trailer mounted compressure with 185 cfm and it has a 3/4 fitting on it

Change a 3/4” connector

I would, after dumping air and ensuring that the compressor is off, simply remove the 3/4" fitting that's there, add a reducing bushing to make it 1/4", and thread the female end of the 1/4" connector into the threaded hole or onto the male thread, whichever adapter you used.

What's the reason, if I may ask?
