CFFN250N Cylinder head leak from cast in hole

CFFN250N Cylinder head

I've had this small compress for a long time. When new it didn't leak. Now every time I start it up I get an air leak that comes out of a deep recess cast into the top center of the cylinder head. You can see this in the attached photo. Is this a design feature or a failure? What can I do about this?

Thank you,
Doug

It's a feature...

That hole is the intake, and the v shape has a v shape intake valve under it.

The valve is broken.

It's fixable.

Google the number and you'll find parts for it.

Have fun.
