Central Pneumatic nailer shoots too deep!

by Roger

I have a 46240 28 degree nailler by Central Pneumatic and it nails to deep. Is there any adjustments to help with this besides the manipulation of air pressure?

Roger, is there not an adjustment dial or lever located near the trigger on this model of framing nailer? I know the newer models have this adjustment.

Yes, you can reduce the pressure, but that may not serve best in that if there isn't enough pressure the nail gun may not cycle properly.

It is best to operated the gun at the recommended pressure and adjust the penetration of the nail via the (usually) included adjustment nut or lever.

If there isn't one on this model, would you mind posting a comment here to let us know?
