Bambi Compressor Oil

by Vic Benson

I have a Bambi 75/250. I live in Ontario Canada.

We do not have the selection of Oils that are available in Europe.

Would you be so kind as to tell me if there are any equivalent oils available that I could use instead of the Bambi product.

We have hydraulic oil by shell with the same 46 in its name. Would this be an equivalent we use this particular oil for the elevators we manufacture?

With Kindest Regards

If your Bambi air compressor is still under warranty, then you must use Bambi lubricating oil in order not to void that warranty.

If it is out of warranty, and if it were my Bambi air compressor, I would have no problem using compressor lubricating oil acquired from a compressor distributor.

It must be detergent free, as are, I believe, most compressor lubricating oils today.

If you have concerns about that course of action however, you can purchase Bambi lubricating oil on line, as I've just discovered.
