I Have an atlas copco gx2ff that keeps on tripping on the unit. It will run for several hours and then trip out on the unit. I can go and turn the on switch on and it will run again until it trips. Any idea as to why?

we also had this problem, check that the start counter for each day is at maximum (240) our Ga37 would start once per day then shut down, we increased the counter in the computer to start at 240 times per day.

What is tripping?
by: Carl

Just need to establish where it is tripping before we can go any further. There are a few things that can trip on these. Could you tell me where exactly it is tripping from? The main isolator trip? The motor overload? Is there a screen on the controller? If so, then is there a message?

A service was done on the unit about two months ago. New filter and oil. Oil level is full. I just installed a new dryer motor. Where is the scavenge tube located? Thanks

GX2FF shutting down
by: Bill

The symptoms suggest an overheat, and that makes me question the air end oil situation. Oil filters all clean and scavenge tube unblocked, Dennis?
