Looking for air regulator replacement part for this model of air compressor Magna Force model V86A 200-22. This compressor is about 15 years old or older. It’s pumps air to the tank but it only get to 20psi

Hey Ron. First off, if you pull that cover off, I expect you'll find that it's a basic general purpose regulator in the line and you should be able to get a new one to fit in the $15 range or so.

Second, you say the compressor only gets to 20 PSI. Hmmm. That's nothing to do with the regulator, Ron. The regulator only controls the air pressure downstream to the air line.

What controls the air pressure level in the tank is the pressure switch. However, your pressure switch may be fine. The symptom you describe points to a possible problem with the valves, gaskets or piston rings in the pump.
