Air Compressor for tire inflation and air brushing

Hi,

Your site is informative. However, my knowledge is limited when it comes to air compressors. I am afraid I'll make a mistake with I get one. My question is, can you suggest a good but budget friendly air compressor that I can use for both tire inflation and airbrushing? I'd appreciate your advice.

Thank you,

JR

Are you sure that’s all you will be doing? You might end up wanting to do more with it after the fact.

I would say get at least a 20-26 Gallon compressor so you can use some small tools as well. You can get them at Lowe’s or Home Depot on sale now actually.

Seeing you want to be on a budget, that’s my take on it.

What compressor

The issue is always how much air will you need at what pressure?

A small automotive compressor (($20 or so) will be adequate for tires.

The compressor for the air brush use however, will depend on the pressure and flow requirements of the air brush.

Lots of companies focus on air brushing compressors, so once you know what type of air brush you will be using, that will point you to the right compressor.

You might want to look at the sitemap on this site, under air brushing for more info. Here is one page you should read:
