A 185 that doesn't start?

I have a 185 that it wont start unless I pull the safety valve on the separator tank to unload the air and pressure on the motor and it fires right up.

Once it is running it is good. its only to get it started.

I pulled valve out and it starts every time.

I put a drain valve in line with safety valve and opened it up and it starts right up closed the drain and it runs perfect.

BLOWDOWN VALVE
Vents sump pressure
to the atmosphere at shutdown.

SHUTDOWN
1. Close the service valves and run the com-
pressor for approximately five minutes to
allow the compressor to cool down.
2. Press the ENGINE SWITCH to the OFF
position after five minutes.

Let us know, please.
