919.165611 60 Gallon 7 hp motor trips breaker

I have the 919.165611 60 Gallon 7 HP motor that trips breaker every time I attempt to turn it on.
It runs for a split second and then trips the breaker.
After doing research, I am no closer to figuring it out, i guess I have it narrowed down to motor start capacitor, unloder valve(can't find this on diagram in owners manual ANYWHERE), and centrifuge?????? Any recommendations?

Dale, see the troubleshooting section on the sitemap page, and read the pages about why air compressors will not start. The fundamentals are pretty much the same, regardless of the size of the reciprocating air compressor.
The unloader valve is typically operated by the pressure switch, whether an external unloader operated by a toggle from the side of the switch or and internal unloader operated from inside the pressure switch. Emulate the unloader valve operation by opening the tank drain and voiding all air from the compressor tank. If the air compressor starts after that, then the problem is quite likely a failure of the unloader valve.
Comment here with findings if you wish.
