my central pneumatic 69667 compressor wont build pressure

compressor comes on and runs but never builds pressure the only area that I can detect air coming out of is the brass relief valve that is threaded into the the fitting on the head underneath the plastic guard. Is that valve supposed to have air blowing out of it constantly ?

69667 air not building
by: Bill

Regarding the hole in the relieve valve, yup, that's supposed to leak when the compressor is running, but not a few seconds after the compressor has stopped.

Regarding the "not build pressure", that's been written about a lot on this site. If you would kindly navigate to the troubleshooting page on this site located here:

https://www.about-air-compressors.com/troubleshooting-your-compressor.html

... and scroll down to and read the page about compressors that don't build pressure. Then, if you still require help with your air compressor problem, add a comment here with details.

Let us know what you found.

Thanks very much.
