21 gallon spits oil..where you pour the oil in

I recently added oil to my air compressor.and when I turned it on it started spitting oil out of a tiny hole where you pour the oil in I have no idea what happened because it ran fine before this

I expect you meant to write Fill spout instead of Spill spout?

Regardless, I suspect the same answer provided the previous poster would apply to your compressor issue as well.

Same problem

It was given to me in parts. Pressure switch had a leak. Replaced it and turned it on spitting oil from spill spout. It had been sitting for quite a while.

Oil spitting out

Well Bobby, our guess is that either the oil sump is way overfilled, or, you have significant air bypassing the piston seals and pressurizing the oil sump.
