1993 LE7 UV rotation and unloader

by Joe

I have a couple questions.

Compressor had a bad motor (7.5 HP Leeson, single stage). I replaced it with a Baldor L1510T - 7.5 HP, 1725 RPM, 31a, single stage. Can't find a tag or stamp on compressor that indicates rotation.

Called Atlas, they said if rotation isn't marked, it can spin either way. Just want to be sure that's accurate.

Other question is on the unloader. The compressor pump and motor are on a metal frame (looks like a metal skid or sled), no tank. The top port on the unloader is plugged. Shouldn't this be connected to the pressure switch somehow? Doesn't make sense that it would connect to a unloader valve built into the switch. What triggers the unloader to unload?

Those come with a tank now, so no telling what's been fooled with on it.

Can you get a few pix so we can see what is now?
