I have a craftsman model 106 154781 2hp air compressor . Have had this unit for many years but got it used , the unit has worked great for years but now have a air leak on the back of the square d pumptrol 9013 . there is a 1/4 " line from the compressor head to the back of this unit and the leak is coming from the two pin holes on the pin unit that is activated by the switch .

looking at your site I know that the cylinder doses need to drop its pressure head when the compressor shuts off. But the little holes leak with out stopping so now I'm looking for my tank unloader valve but there is none on this compressor. cannot find a good parts picture that shows one . I know what it should look like but I cannot see one.

The in tank check valve is bad and needs to be replaced. Sounds like it is stuck open if air constantly leaks from that unloader on the pressure switch. Very inexpensive and we carry them. Part number CV201400SJ costs about $29.00. Call us.

First step, power down, empty all air, remove clean or replace the tank check valve.
