wolf compessor - what is the bit called

what is the bit called where it cames out of the tank at 90 degreese and let you push your appliance on to it. it also holds the preasure gauges and kill switch ?

That is, I believe, currently referred to as a manifold. These are often made of a cast, white metal (cheap and impossible to repair) on lower cost compressors, and are prone to break.

If yours has a problem, you can try to purchase another from the source of your air compressor, or if you visit a decent industrial plumbing shop, you can fabricate one out of standard brass plumbing fittings & fixtures.
