Will not rebuild air back

Husky compressor will build up when it is first turned on, but when you start using the air and it gets down to where it is suppose to start rebuilding up air, it will not kick in and start rebuilding.

Bill says...Mike, when you first turn it on and it runs, is there air in the tank?
I'm guessing there isn't, and when you plug it in, or turn the switch to on, it starts?
I'm thinking that it may be your cut in side of the pressure switch acting up. If the air in the tank is zero, that may allow the diaphragm to move the switch enough to allow the motor to start.
When you get to cut out, and then use some air, the pressure switch should allow power to the motor at what... 90 PSI or so? At this point your compressor doesn't start.
Keep using the tool or dumping the air from the discharge to drain the tank all the way down. Does the compressor eventually start, and if so, at what pressure?
Allow the pressure to come up to cut off, then bleed air again and see where the compressor cuts in again.
I'm thinking pressure switch issues here.
