will not reach top pressure

by patrick McNally
(Little River, SC )

I have a small pancake 3 gal. air compressor
It reaches about 80 psi and will not go up to the set pressure of 110 psi. It just keeps running.

Bill answers...

Hello Patrick. Welcome. Thanks for writing in.

There are a number of reasons for a compressor not building pressure even though it's running. That's why I built a page that addresses that particular issue.

Please have a read of the questions and answers at the bottom of the page, and if that doesn't help, write back in telling me what you found when you undertook some of the suggestions, alright?

Go to this page about compressors not building pressure.

Cheers,

Bill
