Found out cover gasket from these models will fit a Mech Power M90002 unit.

 Muffler

The muffler goes in tight, upon screwing it in I broked the muffler. What would happen if i use
the machine without the muffler. Besides a louder noise? I have model No. M90002.

Any comments? Thank you in advance

A louder compressor for sure. I cannot think of any other negatives.

I contacted the phone number an earlier visitor had left, and learned that Mech Compressors were made/imported by them, Ampro North America.

They no longer manufacture / import air compressors it seems, but their service department may be able to help with parts still.

I believe that there are some pbolems here. We spend ower monies on a product it works great but have aproblem and the trouble begins find a part. My problem came when I pulled the maintainance on my M 90002 The gasket is now leaking and I can't find a replacement. O well by an off brand and you loose the money spent.
