Where is the knob to let in the air and then expel the air when finished?

Oon the 4 gallon compressor where is the knob to let in the air and then expel the air when finished? which attachment will connect the air hose? my husband bought the package of attachments and I don't know which one is the female end to attach to the compressor?

Hi Sandra... it's a bit difficult to answer your question in depth, as all the information you are looking for is here on the pages of this site.

Your question does not include the model number of your compressor, so I cannot identify the specific components for you as part of my reply.

Air is pumped into the compressor tank by the pump. Once the pressure in the tank reaches the cut out pressure of the compressor, the compressor stops.

You get air out of the tank by plugging a connector - attached to an air line - into the discharge coupler on the compressor.
