When nailing I notice that compressor did not fill up, it was dry on oil

I fill it up with oil plug it in but thing. Can I do anything more to get it going?

If you ran the compressor without oil long enough, the excessive heat generated could have caused the piston to seize inside the cylinder. If that's the case, I'm sorry, but you are in for some expensive repairs.

When you turn your compressor on, what happens? Does the motor try to start, does a fuse or breaker pop... what?

Since I can't see what happens when you try to start it, aside from you telling me nothing happens, it's pretty hard to figure out exactly what has gone wrong.
