What's the specs to tight screws back after removing head valve?

what's the specs to tight screws back after removing the head valve? can i use silicone to replace the gaskets? where can i find a reliable & affordable place to buy the repair kit?

Daniel, I believe the torque specs are unique to each compressor so finding them and a kit would be predicated on knowing what brand of compressor you own.

The compressor head environment is considered "high heat" so whatever you use for a gasket needs to be rated that way. I'd opt for a "universal" high heat gasket kit from an auto parts supply, one that you can cut the gasket needed to size from the sheet provided.

The silicone may work, as long as it's heat resistant. I'd still opt for gasket material first.
