What motors and pulleys for a Model 210PUL

I have a Quincy Model 210PUL with a 12" pulley. I also have a 1HP, 3450rpm motor with a 2" pulley. Will this combination work? What other motors could I use with this pump (2, 3HP)? The pump has a UL sticker that says 100 psi max. There is a gauge on the pump for pressure but the pump looks to be a slinger. I'm not able to resize pictures to send.

According to a post on yesterdaystractors, that pump runs at around 510 - 850 RPM.

For hp, you need the low end, speedwise.

Your 12" pump pulley and 2" will give you 1:6, for about 575 RPM at the pump, so it may work, but might tend to bog down a bit toward maximum pressure.

If you can set it up for test, I'd try it.

If you can get a slightly smaller (less than two, but it least 1.75in) motor pulley, you can try that. It'll be slower, but should make the top end run easier.
