i want to buy air compresser with 105 cfm & 200 bars pressure. My contracter has offerd me 200 bar HP compresser with 92 cfm. How di evaluate his proposal?

Bill says...

If your application requires 105 CFM, and the compressor your vendor is offering only provides 92 CFM, and both offer the same pressure at those flows, then if you opt for the compressor, your application will not have enough flow. You will have approximately 13% too little air.

Cheers,

Bill

CFM is flow reading. You should know the required application rate. Then you may op for some CFM.
