What is cut out pressure MW Model WL338 compressor

What is the appropriate release pressure for my MW Model WL338 compressor

Picked up this compressor at a garage sale. It runs well and is very quiet. However, the PRV on the actual compressor pops off at 80 psi. The switch is set to run up to 120, but the PRV prevents this from happening.

I'm just curious what rating PRV this compressor should have on it.

As I said, it is an older unit, a Montgomery Ward WL338, Serial No. 3064WL.

Sounds like the PRV is bad.

I'd pull it and check the rating. 150PSI or thereabouts is what I'd expect.

You'd best use another gauge to confirm the pressure reading you get from the built-in gauge.
