What I need to know is there a table that show the amount heat each compressor will produce

I need to know how much heat each type of compressor is capable of creating. Like is it true that reciprocating 15 at 160 psi will produce 350 F air.

Bill says...

The capture and re-use of what was formerly considered "waste heat" created in the air compression process is becoming more important as energy costs soar.

I have heard that larger plants can heat much of their facility with the heat generated by bigger compressors.

Will every compressor of the same type from different manufacturers develop the same heat? I suspect not, though there have to be some heat ranges into which a similar compressor type and size might fall.

I don't know of any guide out there, and invite any reader of this post to offer information if they have some for Rick.

Cheers,

Bill
