The pump looks like a Chinese "Swan" pump. Also sold under the Puma name in the US.

Throttle Controller
by: Anonymous

You need a purpose built unloader valve with a throttle controller "bull whip" style cable to throttle down the gas engine. Look at the Control Devices website to see what they have. You will need a load genie and a throttle control cable. Generally speaking, when changing from electric to gas drive, we would double the horsepower rating of the motor to maintain performance.

kick down
by: Doug in s.d.ca

You mean kick down to idle when pressure gets to cut out?

Assuming the engine is electric start, you can use the existing contacts on cutout switch to operate a solenoid connected to the engine throttle.

The details of how to do that are up to you.

Have fun!
