What Brand and Model is This Compressor?
Compressor sheave guard
Compressor information decal
Tank certification sticker

It has a plate on the tank with what looks like a serial number of 000005

The electric motor is a 2 hp Ingersoll-Rand

There are two phone numbers on a decal. 817-722-1226 and 800-331-7131 (Moderator note: Neither phone number currently relates to anything to do with air compressors - please do not call them.)

It has a certification sticker that I have taken a picture of. Thanks!

Motor

Your choice.

But I'd consider pulling the motor - it's worth at least $100 used - and a new one runs $150 and up.

Compressor Tank
by: Brent

Due to the difficulty of finding a matching tank and the age of the compressor, I think I am going to put it out by the curb when our city has its twice a year large item pick-up. Thank you for your help and suggestions!

That'd depend on whether the pump is OK and you can get parts.

Does that end bearing cover on the pump say anything?

And do you have a tank already, as in maybe another compressor?

120v
by: Anonymous

Thanks for the feedback. It is 120v. A friend gave it to me and I just found out it has a leak in the tank. I am debating on whether it is worth replacing the tank considering the age of the compressor.

would be I-R, as I don't think they ever actually made AC motors. Probably made for them.

Nice solid looking unit, though.

Is it 120V?
