We are going to procure one auto drain valve in the drain line of the compressed instrument air receiver. The operating temperature and pressure of the instrument air receiver are 16 to 50 deg C and 7 to 12 barG. The drain line size is 1".
Can you please inform is any more information is required to procure the auto drain valve?

You need to determine how the drain valve will operate, ensure that you have the power supply to it depending on that choice, I suspect you won't need a 1" drain, as it's purpose is to drain, not supply air to a main, and make sure that it is adjustable both in terms of duration of cycle (number of seconds open) and frequency of cycle (how many times per minute, per hour, etc.).

You also will need fittings to reduce to the drain size, and ensure that the drain valve can handle the temperature range involved.

Cheers,

Bill
