Value of DeBliss Pro 4000

Hi, Before my daddy passed, he gave me his DeBliss Pro 4000 Air compressor. My mom and I are in need of money, so I am looking to list it for sale. I don't want to get taken, and I was wondering if you could ball park what its value is for me?

Its a 60 gal 5 hp 230 v

The model number is ra500tve60v-3

Any help you could give would be appreciated. I just need a place to start the craigslist ad with. Times have been very difficult lately.

Thank you,
Susan

You are most welcome.

The name of the compressor is DEVILBISS, not DeBiss, I think.

Bill,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it's a De Bliss Pro 4000.

It wasn't used much, and it is in very good working condition. Looking at it after you asked about its age, the metal plate has the year 1996. Quite old, but I know it's been sitting unused for at least 10 years if not longer.

I really appreciate your response. I was unable to find anything at all after scouring the internet.

Thanks again!
Susan

Value of Devilbiss Pro 4000

Hi Susan...

I expect that the make of your compressor is Devilbiss, and the model is the Pro 4000, yes?

When offering it for sale, do make sure that you have the name and model number correct. That will help.

I have no idea of the age of your compressor. It could be 20 years old. Nor do I know the condition it's in, or if it even runs.

If it is a true Devilbiss (now known as DV Sytems I believe) then it would be industrial quality and that would up the price a bit, but again, it depends on the state of the compressor.

I saw one of these sell for $169 on line, and another was being sold for $600 plus.

Somewhere in there is your starting point, depending on the condition.

Good luck to you and your Ma.

Bill
